4th of July Weekend is here which means there will be plenty of fun firework shows happening around the Valley. Here's a rundown of a few Independence Day celebrations in the Central Valley:
Shaver Lake
Saturday, July 2nd: Celebrate America and all its splendor with us, at this professionally choreographed firework spectacular launched from Honeymoon Island in the middle of Shaver Lake 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
Fresno
Monday, July 4th: Independence Day: Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza at Chukchansi Park following the Grizzlies vs. San Jose Giants baseball game at 6:35 pm. Click here for tickets and information.
Saturday, July 2nd: Independence Day Celebration at Granite Park, 4000 N Cedar Ave. in Fresno following a baseball tournament.
Clovis
Monday, July 4th: Freedom Fest Veterans Stadium, located at the corner of Nees and Minnewawa Avenues on the campus of Buchanan High School. In addition to the stunning display of fireworks, the event will feature the Kid’s Korral with games, activities, bounce houses and other attractions for children; a huge assortment of food and refreshments at the Food Fair; a Crafter’s Fair; games, and entertainment. Tickets are available for $5.00 each. Children 5 and younger are free. Gates will open at 5:00 P.M. and will close at 9:00 P.M. The fireworks show will begin at dusk.
